Emergency Shut-off Valves

Our hydraulically-operated valves give you full protection of your pressurized liquefied gas storage facilities. Our 06139FS and 06240FS Emergency Shut-off Valves (ESVs) are ideal for protecting storage tanks that handle liquefied gases and chemicals. They are both remotely operated, fail-safe valves that provide a rapid shutdown in the event of an emergency – including a fire.

Most of the world’s major oil and gas companies use our emergency shut-off valve systems.

Fusible plugs can be fitted at intervals in the hydraulic lines. They are designed to melt at 96ºC and if there is a fire, all valves actuated by that line will close.
We also supply 06060 In-line Housing for the installation of ESVs in pipelines or manifolds.

06139FS / 06240FS Emergency Shut-off Valve (ESV)

This range of fail-safe, remote operated valves provide rapid shut down in case of emergency or fire. It is particularly recommended to safeguard storage tanks and loading facilities handling liquefied gases and chemicals.

Designed according to ASME VIII Div
Service temperature range: -20°C or -45°C to +85°C.
Maximum working pressure: 20 or 30 bar.
Standard flange 300 lbs according to ANSI B16.5.
Compliant to PED directive 2014/68/UE.
Fire Safe Design as per ISO 10497:2010 and API 607.

06060 In-line Housing

Line housings are available for installation of ESV in pipe lines or manifolds.

Designed according to ASME VIII Div 1.
Service temperature range: -45°C to +85°C.
Maximum working pressure: 30 bar.
Standard connection flange 300 lbs according to ANSI B16.5.
