Svanehoj strengthens long-term partnership with MODEC
New projects in South America marks the 11th and 12th MODEC FPSOs equipped with Svanehoj offshore pump solutions and fire water pump packages (FWPP) since 2015.
Svanehoj continues to strengthen its long-standing collaboration with MODEC, one of the world’s leading providers of floating production solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry.
Recently, Svanehoj received orders for the FPSO Gato do Mato-Orca (Brazil) and the Hammerhead FPSO (Guyana) projects, marking the 11th and 12th MODEC FPSOs equipped with Svanehoj offshore pump solutions and fire water pump packages (FWPP) since 2015.

With the FPSO Gato do Mato and Hammerhead FPSO, Svanehoj continues to expand its presence in the deepwater market and reinforce its reputation as a trusted partner for advanced pump solutions in the global FPSO segment.
Scope of supply for FPSO Gato do Mato:
3* fire water pump skids, each with a capacity of 1,600 m³/hr at 12 bar, complete with lift pumps, hydraulics, and control systems.
1* non-API pump package, consisting of 29 high-specification pumps customized to meet stringent offshore standards.
Scope of supply for Hammerhead FPSO:
4* fire water pump skids, each with a capacity of 1,900 m³/hr @ 12 bar, complete with lift pumps, hydraulics, and control systems.
1* non-API pump package, consisting of 27 high-specification pumps customized to meet stringent offshore standards.
These systems will play a critical role in ensuring onboard safety and reliable operation under challenging deepwater conditions.
