Svanehoj announces leadership changes across key business units
Following the recent appointment of Morten Christian Larsen as President of Svanehoj, the company has announced several leadership changes across its business units in Singapore, France, and Germany.
As of July 1, 2026, Morten Christian Larsen has succeeded Søren Kringelholt Nielsen as President of Svanehoj. His appointment has led to a series of leadership changes aimed at ensuring continuity and supporting the continued development of the Group’s international businesses.
Morten Christian Larsen previously served as Managing Director of Svanehoj Singapore. He is succeeded by Morten Ahlbeck, who has been with Svanehoj for more than 6 years and has held several key leadership positions across the Group. Most recently, Morten Ahlbeck served as Managing Director of Svanehoj France, where he led a successful turnaround of the business, and as Managing Director of KOHO, Svanehoj’s recently acquired compressor business in Germany, with responsibility for leading the integration process.
Following Morten Ahlbeck’s relocation to Singapore, Khelaf Bensafia has been appointed Managing Director of Svanehoj France. In his previous role as Head of Project Department, Khelaf has been a central member of the local management team and has played an important role in the development of Svanehoj’s tank control systems business. With extensive knowledge of both the organization and the French business, Khelaf brings strong operational experience and continuity to the role.
In Germany, Jens Wulff has been appointed Managing Director of KOHO. Jens brings extensive experience from the compressor industry and most recently served as CEO EMEA & India at Neuman & Esser. With his strong commercial leadership profile and in-depth industry knowledge, Jens will play an important role in further developing KOHO and realising the potential of its strong compressor technology and product portfolio. His focus will be on strengthening the company’s commercial direction and supporting the development of a more international and scalable business.
Together, the appointments strengthen Svanehoj’s leadership setup across three important business units. With experienced leaders taking on new responsibilities and additional industry expertise joining the Group, Svanehoj is well positioned to maintain momentum and support the continued development of its international business.
