Svanehoj wins the ITT Innovation Award for the second consecutive year

The R&D team at Svanehoj Singapore rewarded for outstanding work on the new NCM Engine Room Pump.

Last month, Kristian Eis (Director R&D and Engineering at Svanehoj Singapore) and Martin Slots Pedersen (R&D Engineer at Svanehoj Singapore) represented Svanehoj at the annual ITT Awards ceremony in New York, where they proudly accepted the ITT Innovation Award for the outstanding work on the development of the new NCM Engine Room Pump series.

This marks the second consecutive year that Svanehoj has been recognized with the ITT Innovation Award, underscoring the breadth of innovation taking place across the company. In 2024, we won the innovation category for the development of the CS Fuel Pump for LNG.

The new pump design was developed by the Svanehoj Singapore R&D team, which, besides Kristian Eis and Martin Slots Pedersen, also includes Thomas Frydkjær, Thomas H. Andersen, and Zach Wong. Together, they have delivered a formidable effort to ensure that the first pump variants were ready for market launch by the end of 2025. Additional pump sizes will be progressively released throughout 2026 and 2027.

The NCM Engine Room Pump represents a fundamental relaunch of Svanehoj's marine engine room pump program. With a compact monoblock design, it is developed to simplify onboard liquid handling and improve operational efficiency:

⚙️ Up to 15% lower weight
⚙️ Fewer components and only one wear part (mechanical seal)
⚙️ Easier installation and maintenance, fewer spare parts, and stable lifetime performance
