ESG: Svanehøj invests in new solutions for future fuels and energy supply

As part of our ESG strategy, we have committed to direct 95% of our R&D investments at solutions and products that support our mindset "Powering a better future".

We know for a fact that the energy transition of the hard-to-abate sectors will require solutions that do not exist in the market today. In some cases, it will require upscaling of existing solutions and, in other cases, entirely new products. In Svanehøj, we are dedicated to helping accelerate the energy transition, and some of our future products and solutions are already in the pipeline and well underway. Today, Svanehøj fuel and cargo pumps are mostly used for LNG and LPG. However, our patented technology is fully compatible with other fluids like ammonia and methanol, making our pumps a viable choice for future fuels.

We recently launched an all-electric submerged pump design, the CS Fuel Pump, with a unique self-cleaning LNG filter and the market's most efficient motor. Svanehøj is the only supplier in the maritime market to offer complete series of both submerged fuel pumps and deepwell fuel pumps for LNG-powered ships. It is our way of advising the customer on the best solution for the project.
