15 new colleagues join Svanehøj
Svanehøj has welcomed a dynamic range of skilled individuals, further strengthening the organization worldwide.
Benjamin Vammen has been appointed Commissioning and Warranty Manager. Benjamin is no stranger to the maritime world. After earning his degree in 2012 as a Marine Engineer, he began working for Royal Arctic Line, where he was responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs. He began working as a traveling service engineer with Rolls-Royce Marine in 2015, where he was responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs. His most recent role was as a Service Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime, where he oversaw main propeller and gear overhauls.
Rikke Ørsted Thomsen, is appointed HR Business Partner in Svanehøj. She has a strong background from previous positions in several Danish and international organizations. Rikke brings with her solid experience in HR Business Partnering, having served in roles such as HR Manager and Partner at Aalborg Airport, Migatronic, and Grundfos.
Kristina Green Nielsen assumes the position of Service Resource Manager, where she will manage the service operations. She has a strong aftersales background with five years as a Team Lead in the aftersales organization at Desmi DeServe. Kristina has sound knowledge and experience in the world of communication with engineers and customers, previously managing a team of coordinators.
Karl-Emil Kjelds takes on the position of Technical Sales Engineer. He earned a marine engineering degree from the Danish maritime education centre, MARTEC, and has spent the previous few years working in various R&D and after-sales roles at Hans Jensen Lubricators. Karl-Emil's primary areas of concentration will be cargo gas and LPG fuel, with the eventual goal of cross-skilling for P&C as a secondary product.
Mohammad Syafiq Bin Hamid has stepped into the role as a Senior Supervisor, joining Svanehøj with a National ITE Certificate (Nitec) and four years of industry expertise from Framo SG, where he worked on rotating equipment and pumps in the marine and offshore industry.
Mathew Goldie has been appointed Senior Supervisor. He is a skilled machinist and his vast international experience in overhauling cryopumps makes his competences an asset to the Svanehøj team. Mathew will lead the team from Falkirk, Scotland.
Ravikumar Pubalan joins Svanehøj as a Senior Supervisor with a decade of experience in the overhauling and testing of pressure relief devices and valves such as Fukui used in Marine and Oil & Gas industry.
Karima Karam joins the team in Svanehøj in Calais, France, as a Sales Support Engineer for new sales, bringing with her experience from KAPP in Lyon, France, where she held the role as Sales Engineer.
Muhammad Faiq Bin Mohd Amin is has been appointed as Senior Supervisor and brings five years of industry experience to the team, working on rotating equipment used in the maritime industry.
Nur Akid Bin Anuar, embarks as new Superintendent. He carries with him experience from a position in Wartsila, handling maintenance planning, cost calculation and resource planning for 14 LNG carriers. Following this, he worked as a Service Engineer at ZF Marine and Volvo Penta. Mr. Akid holds a Diploma in Marine and Offshore Technology and specializes in Naval Architecture.
Nuratiqah Binte Alias steps into Sales Support for aftersales. With ten years in the maritime industry and a solid technical background from Singapore Salvage Engineers, she has vast experience in handling technical maintenance assignments, supervising and reporting of dry-docking works, job reports etc.
Sigurd Sonne has taken on the role as Student Worker in Finance. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in economics and business administration, Sigurd actively contributes his growing expertise. After summer, Sigurd will pursue his master’s degree in AUD.
Nanna Marie Kjellerup is currently pursuing a master's degree in organization, strategy, and leadership at Aalborg University alongside taking on the role as a Student Worker in Svanehøj’s HR-department. Her background from Vesthimmerlands Municipality, where she held a similar position, has introduced her to HR guidelines and procedures, health insurance etc.
Morten Gravgaard Jensen began his journey in Svanehøj early this year as an industrial technical apprentice. Morten will be based in the production in Svenstrup, where he will finish his education at the end of 2027.
Line Poulsen has joined as an Office Trainee in the service department. During her next two years as a student, Line will have her base in the service department in Svenstrup (Denmark) but will get around Svanehøj during her two years as a student.
