Svanehoj’s local service strategy delivers results in China

Svanehoj has successfully performed a complete cargo pump overhaul for a new LPG customer in China. The work was completed on schedule during the vessel’s special survey docking, with support from the local service team.

With a service center in Suzhou and a network of local specialists and partners, Svanehoj provides complete service solutions for LPG and LNG carriers. The team combines knowledge of local working practices with Svanehoj’s expertise in service planning, technical execution, and documentation.

The 15-year-old LPG vessel underwent dry docking in Zhoushan, China. Throughout the docking period, Svanehoj provided all required service support and spare parts on time, ensuring the vessel's safe and timely departure. The customer expressed a high level of satisfaction with the support received and is expected to continue choosing Svanehoj solutions for future requirements.

 Special survey dockings involve extensive inspection, maintenance, and overhaul work across multiple onboard systems, often within tight schedules. To support operators in managing these requirements, Svanehoj’s comprehensive service offering covers cargo and fuel pumps, tank gauging equipment, compressors, and safety valves.

By bringing these services together through a single point of contact, Svanehoj helps customers simplify planning, reduce the need to coordinate multiple suppliers, and ensure that service activities are completed within the scheduled yard stay.

The recent acquisition of Henri Systems Holland has further expanded this offering, adding capabilities in mechanical level gauging, overfill protection, alarm systems, and related services for LPG and LNG applications.
