Why choose Svanehoj ballast pumps
Materials made for seawater
Seawater is hard on pumps. Our ballast pumps use nickel aluminium bronze as standard because it offers the longest service life in seawater. Stainless steel and duplex steel are also available.
Compact design that saves space
Every square metre on board is valuable. The compact pump configuration and flexible nozzle options give naval architects more freedom in the pump room layout and leave more space for what earns money.
Easy maintenance
The pumps are built with standard components and give easy access to wearing parts. They are placed in a separate pump room between the engine room and the cargo hold, so the crew can reach all key components for routine maintenance.
Robust and reliable
The pumps are built for continuous, demanding operation and dependable performance from one voyage to the next.
