The Svanehøj 01817 Level Alarm and Temperature System integrates level switches located in fixed positions and detects: • Interfaces between liquid and gaseous phases of LPG, triggering alarms when critical liquid gas levels are reached (High and Low). • Interfaces between LPG and seepage water, for normal and maintenance water level monitoring. The assembly also incorporates temperature sensors at fixed levels. These continuously measure cavern temperature at several points in both the liquid and gaseous phases of LPG.
All signals gathered above ground level
The sensors are connected to a junction box on the top shaft flange (above ground level) through a multiwire cable. All signals are conveyed to a Tank Data Acquisition System Cabinet located outside the hazardous area.
