Celebrating decades of strong business relations with Izumi Steel Works
Recently, our CEO Søren Kringelholt Nielsen had the pleasure of visiting one of our longest-standing customers in Japan. Izumi Steel Works (ISW), a global leading LPG tank maker, ordered its first Svanehøj deepwell cargo pumps in the late 1980s and has remained a valued customer ever since.
The highlight of the visit was a contract signing, finalizing the order on deepwell cargo pump solutions for three new 11K LPG/VCM carriers, totaling 12* DW150 cargo pumps and 3* NMB150C booster pumps.
Following the signing ceremony, ISW's CEO, Mr. Takaaki Tomiie, led a guided tour of the facilities, offering a unique opportunity to observe the tank fabrication process up close.
As the world’s leading manufacturer of pressurized LPG tanks, ISW has relied on Svanehøj cargo pumps for nearly 40 years. ISW values close, longstanding relationships, and at Svanehøj, we are proud to deliver the high quality and service that ISW requires and expects.
With the ambition to expand its business into the emerging green economy, ISW is preparing for the future, and we at Svanehøj are ready to support this journey. Earlier this year, we had the privilege of welcoming an ISW delegation to our headquarters in Denmark. Here, we presented our patented deepwell EFP fuel pump, which ISW has chosen for its first LNG ship-to-ship bunkering vessel project.
As we celebrate decades of collaboration, Svanehøj remains committed to supporting ISW in reaching new milestones.
