Two business acquisitions, a rapidly growing staff, and an order intake, which in 2021 broke all previous records. Svanehøj is doing well in recent years, and with the prospect of continued growth in sales of pump solutions to support the energy transition in the marine industry, the company is now strengthening its management with a Group CFO.

Following a thorough process, Svanehøj has appointed 42-year-old Mikael Frølund. He has international experience from Aalborg Portland and Wrist Ship Supply and most recently came from a position as CFO in the MT Højgaard-owned Scandi Byg. Mikael Frølund will be responsible for finance, HR and IT and will form the Svanehøj Group's top management together with CEO Søren Kringelholt Nielsen.

- We are in a period of strong growth and have set a very ambitious strategy for the coming years. Mikael Frølund brings us competence at CFO level, which is crucial for achieving the goals we have at Svanehøj, says Søren Kringelholt Nielsen.

For Mikael Frølund, the job as Group CFO is an exciting career move. Not least due to Svanehøj's growth strategy, which has led to acquisitions of FORCE Technology Marine Equipment Service in 2020 and Wärtsilä Tank Control Systems in 2021.

- I bring a global mindset and several years of experience from international groups and am very much looking forward to becoming part of the management at Svanehøj. It is a very attractive company that is expanding internationally in a marine industry that is facing huge investments in energy transition, says Mikael Frølund.
